Our Beach Club has been home to generations of Oakdale residents, many of whom have spent every summer since childhood enjoying the amenities and activities the club has to offer.
We are fortunate to be one of the few communities to have preserved a waterfront location where families and community members can enjoy the best of what Long Island has to offer.
Countless memories and relationships have been made here that will endure throughout our lifetimes.

2026 Season
Memorial Day Weekend until Club Opening Saturday, Sunday, and Memorial Day:
Clubhouse 12pm-8pm Grounds 12pm-9pm Pool 12pm-6pm Club
Opening Day (Friday June 26th) through July:
Clubhouse Sunday through Thursday 10am-9pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday preceding a Holiday 10am-10pm Grounds 10am-11pm
Pool Hours June 26th- July 5th Sunday-Thursday 12pm-8pm Friday-Saturday 12pm-8:30pm
Pool Hours July Monday-Thursday 12:30pm-8pm Friday 12:30pm-8:30pm Saturday 12pm-8:30pm Sunday 12pm-8pm
August through Labor Day:
Clubhouse Sunday through Thursday 10am-9pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday preceding a Holiday 10am-10pm
Pool Hours Monday-Sunday 12pm-8pm
*August 1st Pool opens at 11:00am September Saturday-Sunday Clubhouse 12pm-6pm Grounds 12pm-10pm
THE POOL IS CLOSED AFTER LABOR DAY.
POOL HOURS MAY VARY AT THE DISCRETION OF THE POOL DIRECTOR.
The object of the Association shall be to unite the property owners and residents of Idle Hour,Oakdale,Long Island, for the betterment of the community and through united efforts to foster,encourage and adopt such means as may be necessary for procuring physical improvements for the community and to inaugurate and further any undertaking and projects that may be for the general welfare of this community and the residents thereof.
